Exits

An exit is a numbered motorway junction on the Interstate's route in OpenStreetMap. Ramps with letters (312A, 312B) share one page. Destinations come from the signs mapped on the exit ramps.

Services

Gas stations, restaurants, cafes, fast food, hotels, motels and EV charging stations within one mile (1.6 km) of the exit are listed. Each business is counted at its closest exit only. Truck stops are stations tagged for heavy vehicles or run by major truck stop brands. DC fast chargers are stations with CCS, CHAdeMO or Tesla connectors, or run by fast-charging networks.

Rest areas

Rest areas, welcome centers and service plazas within 400 meters of the Interstate. Direction comes from the name or a direction tag; mile markers are estimated from the two closest exits. Facilities are shown only when they are mapped.

Distances

Interstate exit numbers are mile markers, so the distance between two exits is the difference in their numbers. At state lines numbering restarts, and we add the length of each state's section. Distances are approximate to within a mile or two.

Pages in search results

Exits with fewer than 3 mapped services, and pages with less than 300 words of content, are marked noindex: they help visitors navigating the site but would not help someone arriving from a search engine.
