Why use RoamAmerica
Map apps are great at showing what is around you right now. They are less helpful when you want to know whether to fill up here or risk the next 60 miles, which rest area on your side of the road has restrooms, or where the last fast charger is before a long empty stretch. Every exit page answers those questions with distances along the highway, not straight-line guesses.
The data comes from OpenStreetMap and is refreshed regularly. Exits with almost nothing nearby are still listed, so the next-gas distances add up, and each page says when the data was last updated.
