What we collect

RoamAmerica has no user accounts and no forms that store personal data. The route planner runs on our server from the exits you choose; nothing you enter is saved. Like most websites, our server keeps short-term technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Some hotel links may be affiliate links: if you book through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. They are marked as sponsored links.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data, such as pages visited and time on site. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, under the CCPA/CPRA, or the EU/UK, under the GDPR), you may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
